We’ve been blown away by the excitement and overwhelming response to our purchase of 955 N Lakeshore Boulevard. To say we are humbled is an understatement. You (the community) started showing up as soon as we got the keys asking how you can help and what we plan to do next. We’ve been interviewed in print, on local news channels, and few local interest blogs. We’re only a few months into the new year… what a wild ride!
It became apparent we needed a place to share what we’re up to, what we hope to do, and what’s next. It’s important to have a consistent message. We decided to create this Basecamp landing page to share the vision, project needs, raise money for the park, and keep everyone on the same page (with a newsfeed).
The goal will be to share updates weekly. When we have a site plan finalized we’ll talk about it here. When it’s ready to go to the planning commission we’ll talk about it here. If we schedule an open house or a work bee we’ll share it here. Basecamp partners will be highlighted here. Everything we’re doing at Basecamp will be shared… here
